Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

  • On July 24, 2026, we approved the Utah Department of Workforce Services (DWS) request to waive the 10-day reporting requirement for food purchased with SNAP benefits that was lost as a result of power outages due to flash flooding that began on July 19, 2026. The waiver applies to the ZIP code of 84713, in Beaver County, and is in effect through Aug. 10, 2026.

  • On July 2, 2024, FNS approved the Utah Department of Workforce Services (DWS) request to waive the 10-day reporting requirement for food purchased with SNAP benefits that was lost as a result of power outages due to monsoon weather that began on June 20, 2024. The waiver applies to San Juan County and is in effect through July 22, 2024.
