Section 4022 of the Agricultural Act of 2014 authorized and funded the SNAP employment and training (E&T) pilots and the evaluation. The interim summary report presents short-term findings drawn from the 10 pilot-specific interim evaluation reports. The pilot-specific interim reports and issue briefs on early implementation lessons are also available.
We awarded an additional almost $1.4 million in FY 2021 Team Nutrition Training Grants to six states. These grants will help schools offer meals supported by recipes that use local agricultural products and reflect local food preparation practices and taste preferences.

The Child Nutrition Act of 1966, as amended by the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010, authorizes funds to provide grants on a competitive basis to state agencies. Eight million dollars has been appropriated for state agencies to expand the School Breakfast Program.
The purpose of the FY 2021 NSLP Equipment Assistance Grants for School Food Authorities is to distribute $30 million in funding allocations provided by the Consolidated Appropriations Act 2021 to state agencies to competitively award equipment assistance grants to eligible SFAs participating in the NSLP.
The primary goals of this grant are to increase the participation of Direct Marketing Farmers and Farmers' Markets in SNAP online purchasing, and SNAP online purchasing access by SNAP recipients.
