Summer EBT Templates

For Summer EBT program administration, implementing agencies must:

  • Submit an iPOM to your respective FNA regional office no later than August 15 of the preceding summer.
  • A final POM must be submitted by Feb.15, 2027. The final POM must be approved by FNA in order to draw food benefit funds for the 2027 program year.

We recommend submitting before the deadline when possible.

This is a reminder that in states or Indian Tribal Organizations (ITOs) with multiple Summer EBT agencies, the coordinating Summer EBT agency is the primary point of contact for the Summer EBT Program and is responsible for the complete and timely submission of the iPOM and POM. However, the iPOM and POM must be developed in cooperation with all Summer EBT agencies within a state or ITO and be reflective of the plans and administrative funding needs of each. For the purposes of these documents, the term ‘Summer EBT agency’ includes all administering agencies within a state or ITO unless otherwise specified.
