Training for Cashiers and Staff

Being an authorized SNAP retailer is a privilege, not a right. As a store owner, you must train everyone who works at your store about how to redeem SNAP benefits and what the consequences are for violating the requirements. You are responsible if anyone working at your store breaks the SNAP laws or regulations. For more information about setting up an effective training program, see SNAP Retailer Training Expectations.
